My son is really into making paper airplanes so today we decided to eat ice cream cones and fly airplanes. In an effort to eat more of the same food I bought myself some dairy free ice cream and we both had a cone. He was so excited, way more excited for it then I was.
Vegan ice cream on the left, Lisa’s biscuit in the middle and dairy on the end.
I know this might sound crazy to people living in a cold climate. However it was warm enough to wear shorts, a tee shirt and eat ice cream. I love fall in San Antonio. We headed outside and ate our cones then made some paper airplanes.
We had a flying contest to see which airplane was the fastest and the coolest.
There is my little angel, her last summer cut until spring. Her personality always changes when we get her shaved, feeling cooler makes her act like a playful puppy.
Our marigolds are starting to go to seed, so I thought it would be fun to put the seeds in the paper airplanes and fly them across the lawn so the seeds would spread. Sometimes I think like a 7 year old boy. My son loved the idea and got straight to work.
Seeds ready to be loaded into the planes.
Seeds all loaded and ready to go.
It was nice not to have to go anywhere right after school. Some afternoons it’s nice to just do nothing but enjoy a beautiful day.
