This morning when I got home after dropping my son off to school I was overcome by the sweet smell of ripe mangoes. I knew I just had to add mango to my morning green juice. The result was a sweet and fragrant delightful juice. It was the best green juice ever!
Mango chard green juice
1/2 bunch green chard
1 large ripe mango
3 stalks of celery
1/2 large cucumber
1 orange (optional)
The color is a beautiful green orange just like the skin of a mango. The sweetness of the mango is a great compliment to the flavor of the chard. If you don’t like your juice too sweet or are sugar sensitive add more chard. Make sure you use a ripe mango for the juice, it should be soft and very fragrant. I enjoyed drinking this today because it’s overcast and drizzly in San Antonio today, a rare occasion. Thank you all for your support during my 30 day 100% raw challenge, I really appreciate it.
