Two days ago I had no motivation, and I couldn’t figure out why. In a casual conversation with my husband I realized that it had been weeks since I last exercised. The cold weather had caused me to skip my morning walks that I once loved. My winter hibernation needed to come to an end fast. The next morning I decided to take a Bikram yoga class. I made sure I was well hydrated before and during the class. It had been a few years since my last class and I wanted to make sure I could get through it. After the class my body felt stretched and energized, I was so happy. I wondered why I stopped doing Bikram yoga in the first place.
It’s amazing how exercise can make you feel motivated again. When I got back from yoga I had 4 cups of delicious green juice; my body felt so nourished and ready to face the day. Knowing how to get back on the right path is so important. We all have days or weeks were we feel off, the most important thing is to know how to get back on track.
